Just a witter

Coo aint we posh in our new establishment. Must remember to wipe my feet upon entering. I still haven't sussed the avatar or the pictures. I was starting to feel really smug that I'd got the old site of to a tee, and then it all changes.

I'm still not feeling all that wonderful. I'm seeing the doc in the morning so perhaps he can throw some light on it. I've been on the new tabs for 10 days and I'm still very anxious and sleeping very badly.

Something really funny happened the other night. We had the springer from hell to stay overnight as my daughter was doing a night shift and her OH was away overnight. Mother got up for the loo in the middle of the night and didn't put the lights on as usual. When she went to climb back into bed there was something furry and warm in there. She hadn't realised that he was staying and he must have snuck up the stairs while she was in the bathroom. He made himself quite at home and she was trying to shoo him out without waking the rest of us. Well she managed it as I didn't know anything about it tell the morning.

I'm at a bit of a loose end. No tennis, the shop's very quiet and as for the weather! This time last year it was in the 90's and I'd just come back over from France. No wonder the Brits are obsessed with the weather.

As I was picking in the washing yesterday the little girl next door leaned over the wall and told me that they were doing Ancient Egypt for the end of term and she was going to be Pharoah's daughter. I rushed in and found her piles of stuff from our Egypt trip and my fancy dress outfit. She was tickled pink. Sadly they have sold their house and will be on the move at the end of the month. Amanda her Mum is due to give birth sometime during the next three weeks as well and she had all the baby stuff out on the line. Broody? Me?

I just hope the new neighbours are as nice.

Oh Toady there is nothing like the sight of a tiny little vest to make us feel broody eh.

Watch out... look out for a small erractically driven white car in your streets. Your home town is my 'city' driving practice! Be afraid!

I think it is one of the few regrets I will always have that I didn't have another baby...but when to stop? I would have had another 2 at least if I had chance...but not fair to anyone with my health.

You keep plugging away Toady. YOu have done so well with your shop. The Citalopram had that effect on me for sleep for 1st 3-4 weeks then the opposite effect!!

Take care
warmest wishes
xx

Oh cerumbs - hope the site doesn't make you feel too uncomfortable - give it a few weeks and it will be more familiar and we may well wonder how we managed without it.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling so good. Friend of mine was having trouble sleeping and her dose was increased and the difference is amazing - she is sooo much happier. So give the drugs time - keep talking to your Doc and I suspect he will alter your does. Rotten for you though.

What a shame your neighbour is moving.

As for dogs in the bed - when HS is away my JRT gets in the bed and I love to snuggle up to him.

I often try to shoo Molly out of bed, then realise it's my husband.

Seriously though, she does sleep in our room every night and very often sneaks onto the bed. We often have the cat with us too.

I do hope your neighbours will be good ones, it makes having neighbours so much easier!

Keep at it Toady...the pills not going broody! We always end up with a cat on the bed...it varies which one!!Aren't they heavy when they are asleep?

I hope your new neighbours are nice too. The house next door to us is on the market and everytime someone comes to look round I can't help twitching the curtain to see what they are like. Having reasonable neighbours is so important. I don't really care who they are as long as they are quiet.

Lovely dog in the bed story.
I'm still finding my way in the new site too.
I see you liked Joseph O'Connor's book, so did I, did you know he has a new one out Redemption Falls?

Hello Toady,
So sorry you are not feeling too good at the moment, hopefully in time the dosage of drugs the Doctor prescribes for you will help more with sleep patterns. When I had my two Yorkies, they always slept in the bed with me. I now have two different Terriers, and one likes the Chesterfield, the other likes his wicker basket. Hope that your new neighbours are nice, it is so important, makes life so much easier.

I hope you get to feeling better soon! My dog would LOVE to sleep in the bed, but she's a space hog and pushes us out. Because of that, she's been banned from the bed. She's quite the piglet.
